Welcome to take-off!

What is take-off? 

It's a simple way of eating that cleanses the liver so that it can efficiently burn fat. We also work to stimulate the lymphatic system so that it can effectively process fat. These are key to a healthier you! 

You may have heard of take-off from a friend or you may have seen this website on one of my brochures. Either way, I am glad you are here and hope this 4-week programme will have a positive impact on your life.

This eating plan is great for people wanting to weight loss or simply detoxify their bodies. So many things found in the foods we eat and the medications we take can keep the liver busy detoxifying and this keeps it from doing the job it is designed for, which is to burn fat. 

There is no magic bullet to weight loss or detoxing the body. We don't do anything crazy like going on a liquid diet. We do replace alcohol, caffeine, dairy, sugar, cooking oils and carbonated drinks with healthy alternative like fruits, vegetables and proteins for 2 weeks of the programme. You can do anything for 2 weeks! And the support of the group is just amazing....perhaps the best part!

The simple tools outlined in this course will be yours for a lifetime. I have done the detox 4 times a year since 2002 and I feel great! There has been a lot of research done on the liver and lymph and we know that both need to be working well to burn fat. This programme is most closely based on the research of the Dr. Ann Louise Gittleman and is tried and true - not only on the greater world scale but by woman and men of all ages, stages and sizes right here in Nelson!
